Business English

A course for those who want to,  This is a course for those who want to learn business English, or for business people who want to advance their careers.  The guide was developed in conjunction with the Financial Times, which is one of the world's leading sources of business information. Financial Times articles and practical exercises help students develop English for business. Interviews, case work and content from the Financial Times bring the real world of business into the lesson and stimulate students' interest in business. 

Business 5  book consists of: elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced.   

Minimum level:  A1

5-6 months per book.   In total, the course is fully 20-25 months.

Approximate level is determined based on online testing. Students will be able to practice all 4 components of the language: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

During the course, students will learn business along with English along with practical exercises. As a result of working together, they will be able to prepare and present projects or solve problematic issues, which will be very useful at work in the future.

After completing the course, students will be able to:

  • Make a reservation or make an appointment

  • to talk on the phone and hold teleconferences

  • to solve problematic issues

  • participate in discussions

  • How they behaved at the interview. Ask and answer frequently asked interview questions

  • describe the product

  • make a presentation

  • Write different types of formal emails

  • to conduct negotiations

  • Be able to socialize - simple and short dialogues

  • Plan and participate in meetings

  • to make reports

  • Brainstorming

  • Networking
